AfroGourmets is a Thunder Bay–based culinary experience brand that proudly celebrates global flavours with a local twist. Founded by newcomers from Senegal and Morocco, the brand offers vibrant cooking classes, curated food events and handcrafted gourmet products, each infused with soul, storytelling, and cultural connection.

With a mission to build bridges through food, AfroGourmets brings people together in meaningful and joyful ways, whether by teaching the art of preparing a traditional yassa, hosting a global street food night, or crafting a spicy peanut sauce inspired by West Africa. Every offering reflects a commitment to sharing culinary traditions while creating memorable experiences around the table.

At the core of AfroGourmets is a deep dedication to sourcing locally. By collaborating with farms and producers across Ontario, the brand highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients from blueberries and garlic to tomatoes and honey infusing local into global, and global into local.
