Discover the Muskoka Maple Trail this Spring

This spring from March 8th – April 26th 2024, enjoy the tastes of spring along the Muskoka Maple Trail.

A Sweet Trip Along the Muskoka Maple Trail

Maple season is almost upon us in Ontario! This spring, enjoy the Muskoka Maple Trail in all its sweet, delicious glory. With new stops being added every day, you’ll want to keep your eye on this one.

What is the Muskoka Maple Trail?

The maple trail is a series of stops across Muskoka that are infusing locally-harvested maple syrup into their culinary offerings. They include menu items at restaurants, drinks, sugar bush tours, maple experiences and more.

Guests can visit during open hours to enjoy these offerings- yum!

Why Go On the Muskoka Maple Trail?

With more stops being added to the Maple Trail every day, it’s the perfect chance to try some really unique tastes while taking part in a quintessential Canadian Taste of Place during Muskoka’s shoulder season when the area is less busy but equally beautiful.

We’re stoked to try the 5-course beer pairing menu at Clear Lake Brewing and the charred pork back ribs with Muskoka maple molasses BBQ sauce from 3 Guys & a Stove for starters.

For something a bit more interactive, we can’t wait to go on a sugar bush tour at Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm – trying their Maple Creemees are an absolute must because they’re made right on site and absolute delicious!

Another hit with the family would be the horse-drawn carriage ride through the woods at Back of Beyond Equine Centre – you can roast your own marshmallows over the fire while enjoying some maple hot chocolate!

Want to get a little excited yourself? See what else is happening. This list is growing every day.

An End of Season Celebration on April 27th

On April 27th, you can celebrate the end of this year’s Maple Trail and the closing of maple tapping season with a few special events.

In downtown Huntsville from 9am-5pm, is the annual Maple Festival! This family-friendly event includes buskers, The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show, live music, a beer garden, a pancake breakfast, maple market place and maple-inspired dining down the main street.
