These Feast On Picks Just Got Celebrated in the newest MICHELIN Guide

Last night (September 18, 2025), the MICHELIN Guide revealed its Toronto & Region 2025 selections at Liberty Grand and we’re thrilled (but not surprised) to see the list rife with Feast On®–certified spots. Feast On® is Ontario’s “certified local” program: it recognizes restaurants that commit to sourcing and celebrating Ontario-grown food and drink, with audited local purchasing so diners know their dollars support our farmers, makers and the land.

Below, we break down the Feast On®–certified restaurants that were recognized by Stars, Green Stars, Recommended and Bib Gourmand, plus why you should book them now.

MICHELIN Stars

Restaurant Pearl Morissette: Two MICHELIN Stars + a MICHELIN Green Star

Where: 3953 Jordan Rd, Jordan Station, ON
Chefs: Daniel Hadida & Eric Robertson

Restaurant Pearl Morissette was promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars this year, an extraordinary recognition of a place that’s as much farm, orchard and winery as it is restaurant. Chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson craft a spontaneous tasting menu that moves with Niagara’s micro-seasons; expect dishes like roasted guinea hen with chanterelles, mokum carrot and fig, plus thoughtful non-alcoholic pairings.

As a Feast On®-certified destination, RPM’s commitment to Ontario terroir runs deep. Book for an immersive, countryside experience that feels both of-the-moment and timeless, and check out their Chefs Table experience for something even more bucket-list worthy.

RPM also maintained its MICHELIN Green Star for leadership in sustainable practices, growing and sourcing right on site, then letting the seasons steer the menu. It’s a standard-bearer for what eating local can (and should) taste like. Heading here is more than a meal; it’s a master class in Ontario’s agricultural richness.

MICHELIN Recommended

Here are three to keep on your list: Langdon Hall (Cambridge), Down Home (Grey Highlands), and Fat Rabbit (St. Catharines); each of which kept their MICHELIN-Recommended status this year. “Recommended” is MICHELIN’s way of saying these are reliable, consistently excellent places the inspectors love. So go now and go often. Even better, all three are Feast On®-certified, so you can expect menus built around Ontario growers, on-site gardens and seasonal bounty. Read on for why we love each, and what to order first.

Langdon Hall — MICHELIN Recommended + 2025 Sommelier Award

Where: 1 Langdon Dr, Cambridge, ON
Chef: Jason Bangerter | Wine Director: Faye MacLachlan

A true Ontario icon, Langdon Hall’s dining room remains MICHELIN-Recommended, and this year their Wine Director, Faye MacLachlan, took home the MICHELIN Guide Toronto Sommelier Award for a cellar of 1,400+ bottles and pitch-perfect pairings.

Chef Jason Bangerter’s tasting menus celebrate the property’s kitchen gardens and the region’s best producers, making it a quintessential Feast On® experience. Go for the gracious country-house setting; stay for a terroir-driven menu that feels tailor-made for Ontario wine lovers.

Make sure you check out the on-site garden. You’ll see why we think there’s a MICHELIN Green Star in Langdon’s future.

Down Home Farmhouse Restaurant

Where: 135299 9th Line, Markdale, ON
Chefs: Joel Gray & Hannah Harradine

In Grey County, Down Home is the definition of destination dining: husband and wife duo Joel Gray and Hannah Harradine welcome guests into their cozy 16-seat farmhouse for a world-class tasting menu experience – always championing their producer network with reverence to offer a hyper-local menu.

MICHELIN recognizes the restaurant’s thoughtful, regionally expressive cooking; we love how each course tells a story of the surrounding farms, fields and forests. Down Home’s Feast On® score is nearly 100% Ontario ingredients. They source most things out of their own garden and pretty much everything else within the county boundaries. We won’t be surprised if a Green Star is in their future, too.

Fat Rabbit

Where: 34 Geneva St, St. Catharines, ON
Chef: Zach Smith

Niagara’s Fat Rabbit turns seasonal, local abundance into joyous, flavour-packed plates with vibrant veg, smart preserving and a menu that moves with growers. MICHELIN highlights its quality and consistency; we love it as a casual-fun spot that still sweats the details.

It’s Feast On®-certified, so you can count on Ontario ingredients taking the lead (and the win). Before you head out, swing by the butcher case. It’s full of house-made charcuterie, sausages and other delicious take-home goodies so the local love continues at home.

Bib Gourmand

Here are the Feast On® spots earning MICHELIN’s Bib Gourmand nod, aka the places serving outstanding food at great value. Bib Gourmand restaurants are the inspectors’ go-tos for repeat-worthy meals that won’t break the bank. Even better, these picks are Feast On® certified, so while you’re digging into shareable plates and smart sips, you’re also supporting Ontario growers, makers and seasonal bounty.

Ricky + Olivia

Where: 996 Queen St E, Toronto, ON
Chefs: Ricky Casipe & Olivia Simpson

Ricky + Olivia is all about playful, creative cooking and big Ontario energy: house-made everything, nostalgic nods and flavours that sing. MICHELIN added them to the Bib Gourmand list this year for offering outstanding value without compromising craft. As Feast On® champions, the duo’s menus spotlight local producers with heart and humour. Date night, pals’ night or solo at the bar… this one’s pure fun.

Barrel Heart Brewing

Where: 104 King St W, Unit 1, Dundas, ON
Team: Brewer-Owner Mark Horsley & Chef Mitchell Gatschuff

A brewery with serious culinary chops, Barrel Heart pairs oak-aged, Ontario-fruit saisons with a smart, seasonal menu (yes, save room for dessert). MICHELIN’s new Bib Gourmand nod celebrates their chef-and-brewmaster approach. Think weekly pop-ups, tasting menus and plates that love local (we swoon for the snap peas with gochujang vinaigrette and house kimchi). You’ll notice they list each of their farmers and producers right in their menu so you know exactly where those delicious tastes come from. We 12/10 recommend the Friday night tasting menu – only $85 for two!

Get Out There and Enjoy

Whether you’re looking for a two-star affair or a great meal with great value, Feast On® restaurants are star-studdning the lineup. Bon appetit!
