Combining local, indigenous, and Palestinian-sourced ingredients with centuries-old techniques, louf first and foremost brings people together to share exceptional food.
Barrier-free and located at the foot of Casa Loma on Davenport Rd, louf is set in a two-level converted house that has been a neighbourhood restaurant for over a quarter of a century. louf captures the warmth and hospitality that meals in Palestine are known for within a contemporary chic dining experience. Rooted in the terroir, louf operates with a zero-waste ethos as we are all stewards of the land in which we live and work.
Chef Fadi’s menu at louf is inspired by the tastes and flavours passed down through generations of Palestinian cooking, sourcing ingredients locally and from Palestine. Think GTA-sourced laban jameed, water buffalo halloumi and sumac, and Palestinian olive oil, freekeh and dead sea salt. Beverages at louf have been curated by Sommelier Anna Patrowicz and are accessible in every sense, with unique choices for those who prefer non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks.
