This International Women’s Day, YES SHEF is heading to Mississauga for an unforgettable evening celebrating the women shaping Canada’s culinary scene.
Taking place on March 9, 2026 at The International Centre, this high-energy event transforms the Orion Ballroom into a vibrant culinary experience featuring 20 tasting stations led by some of the country’s most inspiring women chefs.
If you love discovering new flavours and meeting the people behind them, this is your kind of night.
Meet the Talent Shaping Canada’s Culinary Future

The YES SHEF lineup reads like a who’s who of Canadian hospitality.
Chef Alida Solomon of Tutti Matti.
Donna Dooher of Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, Toronto’s “Queen of Brunch.”
Chef Tawnya Brant of Yawékon Foods, championing Haudenosaunee traditional and contemporary foodways.
Chef Charlotte Langley of Nice Cans, redefining sustainable packaged foods.
Chef Eva Chin of Yan Dining Room.
Marissa Leon-John of Elle Jays.
Evelyn Chick, hospitality entrepreneur and drinks industry trailblazer.
And many more.
Guests will move from station to station sampling signature dishes, discovering new favourites and connecting directly with the women shaping kitchens and bars across Canada. Every tasting comes with a story. Every conversation offers a new perspective.
More Than a Night Out

Behind the scenes, each participating chef is paired with an up-and-coming female culinary student, creating mentorship opportunities that help shape the next generation of talent.
This year’s event will award $15,000 in scholarships and create 15 mentorship pairings. One hundred percent of proceeds support women in recreation, tourism and hospitality through WORTH Association.
It’s a celebration with real impact.
