Just an hour north of Toronto, Georgina pairs 52 kilometres of Lake Simcoe shoreline with inviting communities, country roads and a rich agricultural landscape. Farming has shaped this corner of Ontario for more than 200 years, and each August, one of Georgina’s signature events invites you to get a closer look at what’s growing.
Georgina’s Field to Table Farm Tour returns on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This self-guided adventure takes you through local farms, colourful flower fields, orchards, greenhouses and buzzing apiaries. Along the way, you’ll meet the people behind Georgina’s food, learn how it is grown and raised, enjoy live entertainment and stock up on farm-fresh finds.
With six tour locations and even more growers and agricultural businesses to meet, there is plenty to taste, see and experience. You can explore the stops in any order, but we’ve mapped out one delicious way to make a day of it.
Begin by the Lake at ClearWater Farm

Begin your day at ClearWater Farm in Willow Beach, where sustainable agriculture and hands-on learning come together near Lake Simcoe.
Join a guided tour to see what’s growing, taste juicy tomatoes fresh from the farm and fill your shopping bag with seasonal produce. Depending on the harvest, the farm stand may be stocked with crisp salad greens, colourful heirloom tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, sweet corn, mushrooms, eggs and more.
There is plenty happening beyond the fields too. Settle in for children’s story time with the Georgina Public Library, enjoy live music by Dana Valerie or snap a photo with the Georgina Fire Department. Visiting vendors will also be serving and selling chocolates, cookies, art, books and handcrafted finds.
Before continuing your farm tour, grab something to eat and find a spot in the designated picnic area. With accessible washrooms on site, ClearWater Farm makes an inviting first stop for easing into the day.
Meet the Growers at Elmgrove Organic Collective

Next, follow the country roads to Elmgrove Organic Collective, a 50-acre sustainable farming operation where several growers and agricultural businesses share the land and work toward a common goal: growing and raising nourishing food without chemicals.
Wander among the vegetable plots, shop for freshly harvested organic produce and say hello to the resident chickens, sheep and turkeys. It’s a chance to see how a collective approach to farming can help growers work together while caring for the land.
Before you leave, look for the display of antique farm equipment along the back of the barn. You can also add a stitch to J.J. Martyn’s Community Slow Stitching, a hands-on art experience that invites visitors to contribute to a shared creation. From friendly farm animals to fresh vegetables and interactive art, this stop offers plenty for curious visitors of all ages.
Discover the Buzz at R&D Bees and Trees

Next, follow the buzz to R&D Bees and Trees, an apiary located at Breezy Ridge Farm and home to more than one million bees.
Take a peek inside an observation hive, chat with the beekeepers and sip refreshing honey lemonade while sampling honey produced right on the farm. You can also stock up on honey, handcrafted hive products and bee-inspired treats from TJ’s Tasty Treats.
The learning doesn’t stop at the hive. Breezy Ridge Farm will introduce visitors to sheep farming and share how livestock, plants and pollinators all play a role in a thriving agricultural ecosystem. It is a sweet way to discover why Georgina’s commitment to supporting pollinators earned the community recognition from Bee City Canada.
Make Time for the Orchard at Homestead Orchards

By now, you may be ready for a snack. Luckily, Homestead Orchards offers plenty of reasons to arrive hungry.
The Pegg family has called this property home for more than 70 years and now grows over 2,000 apple trees. During Field to Table, visitors can explore the orchard, take an educational wagon ride with the farmers, see antique farm equipment and tour the cider house. Berry picking will also be available based on seasonal conditions.
Stop into the market for preserves, cider, in-season produce and plenty of freshly baked treats. The orchard is especially well known for its apple brownies, but you may also find pies, muffins, cookies, biscuits and other goodies calling your name. Black River Coffee and Cupfull Creations will be joining the festivities, while live music from Dana Ricker adds to the atmosphere.
With prepared foods, baked goods and a designated picnic area on site, this is an ideal place to pause for lunch before continuing the tour.
Explore the Greenhouses at Harford’s

Follow Old Homestead Road to Harford’s Greenhouses, where rows of greenery invite you to slow down, explore and dig into the world of greenhouse growing.
Wander through the greenhouses, chat with the team or get your hands dirty by creating a succulent pot to take home. When hunger strikes, grab a hot dog and some sweet summer corn, then enjoy live music from Mike Chianelli.
Before heading to the next stop, browse baked treats, handcrafted goods and stylish finds from Meme’s Bakery, White | Hare, and Fisher Design Home Company.
Finish Among the Flowers at Cloverhill Flowers and Hiveshare

Just across the road, wrap up your tour surrounded by colour at Cloverhill Flowers. Run by mother-daughter duo Debbie and Amanda Gordon, this family-owned flower farm grows more than 50 varieties of seasonal cutting flowers.
Follow the self-guided path through rows of colourful blooms, explore the themed vegetable and children’s gardens or visit the Bloom Bar to create a bouquet with help from Cloverhill’s floral designers. Between flower-filled photo stops, enjoy live music, watch a watercolour artist paint outdoors and cool down with a scoop of locally made gelato.
Little explorers can join a game of nature bingo or enter the flower-colouring contest. Meanwhile, photographers can capture their favourite blooms for a chance to win a wrapped bouquet.
The stop gets even sweeter with Hiveshare. Local beekeeper Chris Campbell will share a closer look inside an observation hive and answer your questions about bees, honey and the important role pollinators play in our food system. Browse Hiveshare’s local honey products and tasty collaborations with other Georgina businesses before finding a spot in Cloverhill’s picnic area.
With colourful fields, sweet scoops and plenty of local honey, Cloverhill is a fitting place to savour the final moments of your Field to Table adventure.

Georgina’s Field to Table Farm Tour runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Since the tour is self-guided, you can start at any participating farm and explore at your own pace.
Pick up your Field to Table passport
Download the Field to Table passport and map before your visit or pick up a copy at your first farm stop. Collect a unique stamp along the way, with each stamp earning you another entry to win a gift basket filled with goods from Georgina farmers.
Leave your passport with staff at your final stop or snap a photo and email it to the event team (tourism@georgina.ca).
