Owned and operated by hospitality veterans Darcy MacDonell and Simon MacRae, The Hog & Penny brings together decades of experience from some of Canada and the UK’s most respected restaurants. Darcy, known for his work at Toronto’s acclaimed FARMHOUSE Tavern and with Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality, has built a reputation for championing quality ingredients and approachable, elevated dining. Simon’s background includes leading roles at London’s renowned Hawksmoor Group and Toronto’s BlueBlood Steakhouse, where he helped shape one of the city’s top dining destinations.

Together, they’ve created a pub that feels both timeless and distinctly local, where traditional British influences meet a passion for great food, drink and community.
