Nestled in the heart of Prince Edward County’s wine country, The Grange of Prince Edward tells a story of deep roots, thoughtful revival, and exceptional terroir. The winery’s journey began in 2001 with some of the County’s earliest vineyard plantings, establishing it as a pioneer in what has become one of Ontario’s most dynamic wine regions. Today, a historic 200-year-old barn overlooks 135 scenic acres, including more than 40 acres of mature vines that produce some of Ontario’s most compelling cool-climate wines.

Following a transformative revitalization in 2021, The Grange assembled an all-star team to guide its next chapter. Acclaimed winemaker Jonas Newman crafts the terroir-driven Estate Series alongside the collaborative Farmer’s Series and the premium Aurelia collection. Legendary viticulturist Mike Peddlesden—who planted the original vines—continues to guide their renewal, while VP Sales and Events and House Sommelier Marlise Ponzo curates unforgettable guest experiences. These are thoughtfully paired with Chef Paul Tobias’s culinary program, rooted in locally sourced, farm-to-table ingredients.

Guests can dine in the Great Hall beside a striking stone fireplace or enjoy elevated comfort food at the casual Vineyard Kitchen.
